the electrical systems technology program at durham tech is designed for those interested in this career path. students will learn about the fundamentals of alternating and direct current; residential, commercial, and industrial installation and maintenance; the national electrical code; ac and dc motors; transformers; electrical control circuit diagrams; programmable logic controllers; and process control instrumentation.
